In doing bathrooms, the first thing is to know who uses them. If is strictly the master bath, you may decorate it differently than a children's or teenager's bath. A guest bath in again totally different, and a pool bath is another type. So the easiest thing to do is write that down for each bath.
A master bath usually reflects the master bedroom. So your colors are carried through. then add what ever it is you want. I will be showing a lot of things on bathrooms.
A children's bathroom can be whimsical, or very feminine or masculine depending on the children. Age tells a lot too, if the child is very young and a boy, perhaps Sponge Bob or a favorite character. A young girl may have a princess bath.
A guest bath is where you really should put your thoughts. Make sure there is everything in the cabinets for a guest, in case they forgot something and don't want to ask. Make a list and put it all in there. Use fluffy towels and nice soap. Follow your heart on the design. If you have been saving ideas, go over them, and pick out the best ones and use them. Use what you have. Just add color or fresh flowers and a scented candle.
These al make for a wonderful guest experience. Especially the scents and the flowers!!
