This is a tile made in Spain, and if you look close enough you can see the company. This shows you some design in tile, that is why many people paint their own, or commission an artist to paint them.
Another interesting thing happened today, I was at Hobby Lobby, in the art aisles, and a lady asked me if I was an artist? I told her I was and I helped her get the right supplies for a project she was going to do. I hope it worked out for her, as I wasn't real familiar with one of the products. So people seek advice even if they don't know you. Sometimes you can be in just the right place to get advice for nothing and from an expert. When doing a project, familiarize yourself with the product. Looking it up online is such a help.
These tiles have a lot of island colors. They would be perfect in a vacation home, or a bathroom that you want to look sumptuous. the colors of water, sky and that wonderful color of the Caribbean all in one place.
You can even mix these or I should say any painted ones with other tile. It depends on the look you want. I stay away from fad colors, as when they go out, it dates your home immediately. Use them for throw pillow and floral or small accessories. I love to look at the rooms in the magazines because you get a bit of both, style and color. Again, the mixtures of everything, eclectic.
Today in Veranda, I again noticed the use of blue hydrangeas in some of the pictures. I have to look back and see if I put it in a post, the picture I painted.
Do you need tile? Remember when I was talking about faux painting early on, I showed you a picture of a faux tile floor. That is another way to go.
