I have found that I love to do it all.
Here is a picture of a hat I designed for a roaring 20's party:
When I am not working on interiors, I am painting and creating other things.
I guess one of the problems is, I never sit unless I am doing something. Yesterday it was designing this hat, flower arranging, and painting on my banana leaf painting. I also re-painted a lamp from the outside that had started to rust. I forgot to take a before picture, not like me, but I have so much going right now. I will take a picture of the lamp tomorrow but you will just see the after. I can get up everyday and have 100 things I want to do.
Speaking of outdoors, since it is getting a little cooler out ( not here yet), that is a good time to paint outside. Did you know that you should paint outdoor porches the color of the sky. That way spiders and bugs think it is the sky and don't make nests there. This is from design when I was a child, my grandmother told me that. In a lot of coastal towns, you will see that. Another thing is transition time, that is usually now in a lot of areas. In the north, you can plant fall flowers. In the mountains, pansies, and in the south impatiens, but they require a lot of water now as it is still too hot. Soon it will be time to plant geraniums. Funny on how flowers grow all over the world and the times of the year they grow. Tomorrow and Wednesday, I am going to plant pots.
