A bit on re-cycling and More

I was talking about the grill area yesterday and showed you a picture.  Here is the painting, still not done, but in transition:

The lighting was wrong this morning, so I will get one in better light later.  You can see how it is developing to match my art deco dish.

Let's talk about what is new in the 2014 palette.  Nature inspired blues are leading the way.  Remember, I said before, I love purple and turquoise, then add lime green.  I have always been a blue - white - and yellow person, but I wear a lot of turquoise jewelry.

Sun, sky, sea and sand are all the rage in color.  Outdoor things painted in any of these colors and add green, see that wind and weather do a job on all paintwork.  The look is intoxicating to one who loves the outdoors and brings it inside.  This is where re-cycling comes into being.  Be on the lookout for faded painted items.  Incorporate them with their fresh items and see the great look.  Shabby chic with new gone wild.  Recycling blows in from around the corner with nostalgia of blurry images from the past in its shadow. Consuming less is more. Try Turquoise !!!!!!!!!!!!!
